St. Andrew's Day discounts in Cincinnati
I just had the following e-mail sent to me by another friend in Cincinnati.
HERBS & SPICE AND EVERYTHING NICE IN THE NEWS
If you are a local newsletter reader, then you might want to catch tomorrow’s, Wednesday’s, Cincinnati Enquirer. There will be an article, written by Polly Campbell, about your favorite Findlay Market Spice Vendor.
Also, since Thursday is St. Andrews Day (like St. Patty’s Day to us Scots) from Thursday through Sunday I will be wearing the Stewart Tartan. Anyone who shops with us from Thursday to Sunday wearing a kilt will receive a 10% discount.
The move to our new and bigger space (just across the aisle) is slated for the last week in December and the first week in January. We will be adding a complete line of Organic Herbs & Spices along with extracts and other items you have been asking for. Thank you one and all for your patronage and support. We couldn’t do this without you.
Wishing you Herbs & Spice and Everything Nice,
De Stewart

Ah, St. Andrew's Day. Not well known, but it'll be infamous around here by Friday. On my campus, St. Patrick's Day is a the biggest drinking day. I hope to make St. Andrew's Day a close second this year.
Note: Don't accuse me of perpetuating "the drunken Scotsman" stereotype. Let me remind you that I'm also a college student!

Thanks, Adam.
I don't know the place, but my wife may - I haven't been down to Findlay in years, although she has.

It's worth the trip. It has changed so much in the last couple of years.
I was just there last weekend, in a kilt (a UK), buying spices at the Mediterranean Imports store. There was no discount, but you hardly need one; the prices for spices are so low as it is.
I may have to rummage through my spice rack to see what else I need.
Regards,
Rex
At any moment you must be prepared to give up who you are today for who you could become tomorrow.
