Robertson,
Thanks for another lovely tour of Scotland. For those of us who have have never had the opportunity to travel abroad your tours are very much appreciated and enjoyed!

Robertson,
Great pictures! My wife and I really enjoyed the pictures of Glasgow.
My wife is applying to the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow (as well as King's College in London) for a M.S. in forensics starting next fall. The M.S. programs at both the colleges are a year long. She's worked at the crime lab here in Anchorage for almost 15 years and wants to add to her education. We'll miss each other, but the opportunity to go to school abroad and attend top-notch programs is too good to pass up.
I expect I'll be travelling back and forth several times to visit (kilted for sure ). Your pictures make it easier to imagine what Glasgow might be like.

Very cool pics. What kind of beast was that with the huge antlers? Looks almost moose like. Thanks for sharing.

That's Lord Mungo Murray... As an interesting side note on the Mungo Murray portrait, as I stated above, it is considered the earliest depiction of tartan Highland dress in a major portrait.

I believe it is on 11th August 2007, Robertson. I have the DVD of the 2005 event and it appears to be a fantastic day out.
How about a 'Championship Weekend' based on The Ferintosh which includes a trip to Glasgie on 11th?
