Very Nice! If you have a chance to snap a few more shots in the light, so we can get a better idea of the colors of the tartan, it'd be much appreciated!

Really like the tartan too, seems to blend well with the landscape of southern Arizona, an unofficial hunting tartan...the deer sure seem interested in it too.

Ron, I'll second that, since the tartan shares its name with William O. "Buckey" O'Neill, Arizona's hero in the Spanish-American War who fought (and died) with Roosevelt's Rough Riders on the Santiago campaign.

You're so right Todd,
That settles it, O'Neille, you now HAVE to travel northwest to Prescott and get a few pics of the O'Neille tartan kilt with the Buckey O'Neill statue in front of the Yavapai County Courthouse.

Was a cold day a couple years ago with a disposable camera but here's a shot of the statue with an olde guy in a UK brown leather kilt.

What a fabulous tartan, O'Neille. I just love it and would welcome it into the Kilt Kollection, but I believe this is one you designed yourself. Correct? Kathy Lane certainly turns out some beautiful kilts for you fellows across the pond.

I didn't design this one. I was interested in one of the newer O'Neill Tartans and this just happened to be one that D.C. Dalgliesh had some left from a special order. It took forever to get it and then I had to get up to get measured just so it would be perfect. It is listed as O'Neill (Australia), In addition there is Linda Clifford's (13 oz) O'Neill and a few pipe bands.

And I have to agree that this is a fantastic kilt. The wind blows and it just moves with the wind. Most of my kilts require frequent adjustment but this one just stays put. I'm already thinking of what my next Kathy kilt will be.
