In my first post on this thread, I should have added the annual kiltmaking session in South Lake Tahoe which begins the first weekend in August.
I have requested the sponsor details from Elsie for all the classes listed in the first post. Elsie has asked for a little time to gather the info and transcribe it into an email. (She claims her computer skills are a distant second to her kiltmaking skills.)

There is a small discussion regarding practioners of the left-handed arts in "The Art of Kiltmaking." As I recall, the conclusion was try to do whatever you can that works.
Of course, I see nothing wrong (just non-traditional) with making a kilt with ALL the pleats going the reverse direction. In that case, every direction, measurement, and stitch called for in the book could be mirror-imaged. What's not to like about a left-handed kilt? Needless to say, pictures are absolutely required.
