Ahhhh bummer. You may just be better off having her hold it for your arrival in Scotland. It would be a major drag for it to get caught up and delayed in shipping to Japan right before you leave.

Ouch .. sorry to hear that. Hopefully they get things straightened out quickly. I'd echo the recommendation to get it sent to Scotland. When you're dealing with international shipping, you never know WHAT can happen, and you don't want it landing in japan after you take off ..

Customer Pick Up in Scotland. Take no more chances with shipping and customs!
I've consulted the Magic 8-ball. Should the kilt be picked up in Scotland ...the answer, "Signs point to Yes"
So let it be written, so let it be done

Cheers guys.
I'm pretty sure that I'll have to pick it up in Scotland, which really sucks as I have several things I wanted to wear it to, including an Xmarks meet up in London, first kilt night in jeans!!
I mostly using these deadlines to keep up the pressure on the kilt maker, not that it seems to be doing much good right now.

Just to let everyone know that I recieved my kilt in London. It's beautiful (if a little loose (slides down my ribcage a bit) but should Christmas not cure that I think it can be easily adjusted. Pics will be forthcoming.

Glad to see you finally got it. Was it worth the wait? While you're in Scotland why not order another, and get measured by the maker?

GREAT! I'm very happy for you Andy. Poor guy, you've been through ups and downs waiting on that. It's the MacTavish tartan, correct? Can't wait to see some piccies. Merry Christmas.
