    After consulting with Rocky, I decided to pleat it to the white stripe on the blue stripe. It does make the red look a little purple, but pleating it to any part of the red was just too red. I could have pleated it to the set, but I think I have more option to wear it when it was pleated to blue.

    Making one was a lot of fun, but it was a modern kilt this is a tartan kilt, it is just different. This being a 5 yard wool kilt will be much warmer than my four yard cotton kilt as well, better for hockey games.

    As someone that played hockey for years and years I agree with Rocky. Tucked in jersey don't look right except on one person and that was an exception and not a full tuck. Great looking tartan though, it matches the jersey very well.

    Looks good, but I agree to untuck, if that looks bad, tuck it back in. What about all the work with the DIY?

    That one is done as well, and I really love the way it turned out see pictures here I will see if I can get some pictures of it untucked tomorrow.
