    Tux Shirts

It has been my understanding that tuxedo style (wing-collar) shirts used in highland dress should have a plain front , no pleats; http://www.tartansauthority.com/Web/...eartheKilt.asp

I needed one a while ago, and did not have time to order from any of our usual vendors. It was not easy to find one locally either, but I ended up at an Al's Formal Wear store where they not only had plenty of plain front wing collar shirts, but had some retired rental ones in my size for 14bucks I got a nice shirt and a new bow tie for under $20 .

Technically, the wing-collar shirts are for white-tie; black tie shirts should be plain front with a "stand-and-fall" collar, although the formal rental business here in the US has pretty much made this a moot point.
