Sett vs. Stripe

One great advantage of pleating to the stripe hasn´t yet been mentioned:
It´s much easier to alter the kilt!
I am slowly but steadily losing weight and have already had to make some of my kilts smaller ... it is much easier to take out a stripe pleat, the pattern doesn´t change as it would with a pleating to the sett!
