Why should I. anybody can do it. I have never hidden the fact that we started with the Thompson book. We just improved on it. One day I'll get around to making another for myself. If folks want to make their own then that's fine. If they want to buy from Sten Rune and I then that's also fine.

I am sure your son will like his sporran it's been made with great care and skill Something he will appreciate with time.

An appendix in the book "So You're Going To Wear The Kilt" by J. Charles Thompson. A book with lots of good info on tartans, kilts, and kiltwear/accessories.

I was going to make a white (fake) rabbits fur sporran with tassles for christmas, but never got around to it. That sporran blows my idea away!
