"Blackwatch, Grodon, MacKenzie, and Cameron are all available in fat boy sizes as well for around $300. It's about the same as noted above, only the sizes are availble."
These things are hard to beat. I got one in a 50" waist... yeah, I am one of those larger guys...what of it?!? Ha ha...
These things are tough, hard wearing, and warm. The only downfall is the buckles and straps. I want to get mine replaced, as I trashed the lower buckle on the left side. For what it is+a minor fee for new hardware, I would say that they are still hard to beat for what they are.
I got a Gordon from WPG when they were on sale=the deal was even sweeter. Also, the khaki hose from WPG is pretty good too.
It would be neat if the site listed above had regimental pieces in "fat boy" sizes, but you can't win them all, can you?

Fat Boy in kilt
I, too, was once young, lean, and a real babe magnet.
Now I'm just a babe magnet. But then, most kilted men are. Ha.
I am trying this photo thing to show you what my WPG Gordon looks like with a Charlie. I'm the one in the Charlie on the right. You can see that I am definitely not one of those boys with a 32" waist. (My friend on the left is, but he's an aboration! Ha. It was only his 2nd kilted outing.)

Let's see if this photo thing will work for me.
BTW, that bear is not growing out of my bonnet. It's on the mantel behind.

Looking at the photo above I think you'd look even smarter if you tightened the kilt down (a lot) and raised it to touch (as it should) your ribcage. The pattern is intended to be worn very high up and fit very snugly (why some even feel that they are too loose unless they are "regimental"). Pull the kilt up to your rib-cage, suck in your stomach and hold your breath while you tighten down the inner (left) belt (really tight). Now close the right belts. You should not be able to move or shift the kilt unless you suck in your gut, hold your breath and tug! Try it and then look in the mirror and see the difference.

I do that and have since the pic was taken. I wear the straps tightened to the last holes. I just haven't taken any recent pics. The WPG kilts are certainly great cold weather kilts and there's enough wool there to knit a sheep.

That one had me laughing for a while... Just the image of a nice scottish woman with a semi-bald sheep on one side and a unravelling kilt on the other....
