My favorite line is when they are getting off the boat and someone hands Ibn (Antonio Banderas) a viking sword and he says "I cannot lift this"
    The reply..

    "Grow Stronger!"

    Very cool.

Great movie, though the garb and the armor of the men is all hilariously wrong for the period (one guy has a 16th c. Spanish breastplate and morion-type helmet, and another has a Roman-period gladiator's helmet). Oddly enough, the women's Norse garb as depicted is quite correct. Why couldn't they get the men right (and leave out the philabeg)???

Haven't seen the movie "13th Warrior" , but I liked the book "Eaters of the Dead" which it is based on.

"Andromeda Strain" and "Jurassic Park are also good books. I absolutely loathed the film version of Jurassic Park though.

It was a 'fantasy' movie. I found it entertaining enough to purchase it and enjoyed it as much as my nephews and nieces did.

    Tony Curran low down

    I particulary liked:
Banderas- "but I'm not a warrior!"
Dennis Storhøi- "Very soon, you will be."
