Alex,

Is the Vulcan still airworthy? When you see this war planes on display, I assume they were flown there. Since they tend to be "on loan" to the museum from the military, are they kept up mechanically? Are they ever flown to display them?

That is a sweet aircraft, and I've always liked the green/gray camo pattern the RAF uses. Growing up, I built a lot of model aircraft, mostly from Airfix/Matchbox, and I liked doing that scheme on them, especially on ones like the Vulcan or the Hawker Hunter that have such a smooth curvy look to them.

I remember seeing the Vulcans flying out of RAF ST Mawgan in Cornwall where I used to holiday (not at the RAF station but nearby)!
