That pretty much sums up every border collie I've been around.
I own a black and white, although her father was a red and white and you can see a red tint in her black fur in the summer.
Yours is a beautiful animal.

Congrats P1M, Toffee is a lucky boy. I'm looking forward to meeting him and Ceilidh.

Congrats, Toffee's a good-lookin' boy. My wife and I have four dogs, the two golden retreivers she hired me to work with last winter, the chow mix I've trained to be my hearing dog, and a rottweiler we adopted about a month before we got married - it's a full house!

Good for you that the two of you chose to adopt...and it looks like you got there on a good day and found a good lookin' dog. Looks a bit like Pat, one of our dogs from when I was living at home with the parents.
Some of my wife's family was over last night and they were pushing our taking in a kitten that they found...and, of course, it's a black kitten and I've been particularly missing having a black cat aroound the house...we had two for a long time...both of them lived well into their late 'teens. It's a bit crowded now, though...two dogs and two cats...so we had to pass.

In a phrase that's common currency 'round our house, those both appear to be "fine quality animals."

Your new fur-baby is really cute. A great addition to the family. I remember how upset you were when Usgie buried.
