My favorite veggie! An interesting tale about Brussels sprouts: When I was a kid, we had a veggie garden every year. One December, as I was coming home from school, I cut through the garden and happened to notice a patch of green peeking through the few inches of snow on the ground. Apparently, just after we had harvested a few months before, one of the plants we missed had decided to just keep growing. I brushed the snow away, and found enough for supper that night. To this day, I'd have to say that those were the best I've ever had.
