    Haha - I obvs. dont know what im doing

    Guys,

    I tried to duplicate my current kilt with new material, and I ended up with a short skirt! - I cut it too short.... I am a terrible sewer and it just dident come out. LUCKLY I still have my good one.

    Do you have a wife/girlfriend you could give it to then she could have a skirt to match your current kilt?

    I have a Fiance that yeah I could give it too. She'd probably like it actually.

    I'm not an expert, but when I was making my kilt, the way I avoided that problem was to kneel on the ground and measure from the ground up to where I wanted to wear my kilt. Then I added three inches. I did the rest of the tailoring of the kilt, then measured from the selvedge of the kilt to just above my waist measurement and cut off the excess all the way around the kilt.
