Good on you P1M! Fine lookin' dog. Nothing warms the heart or the home like a good dog. I too just picked up a dog from the SPCA. A fine Christams gift to give oneself.

A Handsome Dug to be sure...
Looks like yall had some pretty dreich weather there for the holidays, too.
Speaking of "dugs"... is there a saying or an old legend which includes/involves "the twa dugs"??? For some reason it sticks in my head that this is so, or maybe it just sounds cool, I dont know. I guess I could do a google search, but I boycott Google/Yahoo for their fascist bed sharing with the Chinese...WHORES AND FORNICATOURS! But I digress...
At any rate, would be very interested if anyone had some insight on this little ditty.
Cheers!

It's a poem by Robert Burns, about "twa dogs", obviously, Ceasar, the Laird's dug, and Luath, the border collie -- Burns's collie was named Luath, and reportedly Luath tripped up Miss Jean Armour so Burns could speak to her!

The most famous line is the last:
By this, the sun was out o' sight,
An' darker gloamin brought the night;
The bum-clock humm'd wi' lazy drone;
The kye stood rowtin' i' the loan;
When up they gat, an' shook their lugs,
Rejoic'd they were na men, but dogs;
An' each took aff his several way,
Resolv'd to meet some ither day.
Yours aye,
Todd

Beautiful Dogs!
I've got seven cats. One is the probverbial scairdy cat. Scared of everything, except dogs!:confused: He went head to head with the vicious {bit my Daughter} Aussie Shepherd next door, and WON!
