Many years ago, I was able to go to a National Jamboree at A.P.Hill, and remember seeing several tartans worn by Scottish scouts. One troop in particular had several different tartans on the boys. Other than that, I have no more information other that the Maclaren tartan. I also taught Uniforming to new Cub Scout leaders and the question came up at least once during every class I ever taught. I had tried to get the answer from our district exec, but he could or would not help me. I , myself, was not kilted at the time. Frank
