I have been after my wife to convert one of my leather sportcoats to a kilt jacket for a couple of months. I'm lucky that she is an accomplished seamstress and tailor. Unlucky that I come after the paying customers. Was thinking about doing the full blown Argyll style with sterling buttons. Maybe in February when things are slow for her.
