Montgomery Scot!!
Well I was sitting up the other night watching an old episode from the 3rd season of Star Trek the original series and what did I see before me but Scotty in a dress uniform with great kilt included. I was totally wow'd. I was checking our all his accessories to see how accurate they made and to be honest, though I'm new to kilts and all, but it looked pretty authentic. He was wearing what appeared to be a rabbit fur dress sporran and I have no idea what tartan he was wearing but it looked white with blue or black. Possibly a wedding tartan? I dunno. The only ones I've seen mostly white have been wedding tartans. Anyway, just thought I'd share that. See ya

Well I couldn't edit my post. I found the pic and I was way off the colors but it's still basically white. What tartan you think??

Supposedly, all the tartans he wore in Star Trek were the Scott tartans. Furnished by the city of Aberdeen. Leastways, that's what I heard tell.

If what the good doctor says is true, even a kilt couldn't make those dress uniforms comfortable.

Class A's are usually uncomfortable. But Bones was "just an ol' country doctor" as he said in one episode of the original series.

That is a Magnificent Picture! James Doohan was a True Gentleman! He will be missed.
