What, no Colorado Trail? If I could do a long trip, that's the one I'd do. It starts in my hometown of Durango down in the southwest corner of the state and winds its way up here to the Denver area. I'm a short distance hiker only, but I can tell you that the scenery at either end of that trail is some of the prettiest in the world.
