Back from vacation and pics are posted I didn't have my kilts with me in Reno, and frankly I'm too delicate a flower to want to go kilted when the chill wind blows. It was, however, great kilt weather in Southern California, and I took full advantage of it. In addition to the responses mentioned in my first post, I got a couple of "nice kilt" from shop keepers, and passed on another UK card to a tobacconist, who reported owning several traditionals dating back to his days in a pipe band. The holidays ended with a bang with a party at our house, where several of our guests had never seen me kilted before. My wife noted that that every one seemed accepting of the concept, and thus further progress was made.

Hope all of your holidays were happy too.

    Best regards,

    Jake
