I'm thinking of hiring a cab and taking the Mrs. to Bogart's Lounge and Tech Pub (in Sunnyvale, CA) to tip a Guiness or two to ring in the New Year.
Whether we go or stay home to watch the ball drop on TV, I'll be kilted for sure.

Pamela, her folks and I will be taking in our traditional opera night on New Years (black tie). Afterward, her folks will head home and then we will head to Adam's Place for a late New Years Eve dinner with some friends. Adam's has one of the best selections of single malt in Eugene as well as fine cuisine and fine wines. I'll be the kilted guy with a single malt!
Happy New Year to all!!

The wife and I were invited to a party hosted by the local home brewing club; I'll be wearing either my caramel workman's or my olive mocker, depending on how dressed up the missus wants to get.

I'm working on finishing a black denim 4 (ish) yard box pleat kilt. After dinner I need to run to JoAnne's (i don't have enough thread in the right color to finish). IF I get it done, i'll be kilted, the kilt I'm wearing now (and the only one I broght down to Los Angeles with me) isn't warm enough (or well enough built) for tomorrow night.
Here's hoping i can get it finihsed (waist band, belt loops, sporan hooks, and the buckles are all that are left to do)
cheers (and happy new years to all)
Chris

Will be kilted, even if I'm sitting on the couch in the family room, recovering from the flu...

We are going to a friends house for a party .. there's gonna be around 60 people there. Half the people I know, the others I don't (some will be from Galway in Ireland). Unless I'm pleasantly suprised, I guess I will be the only Cilted guy there. Will be taking plenty of pics.
Happy New Year Everyone
