The Versatility of Kilts

These have been posted before, but separately. Taken together they illustrate a small example of the wide range of activities that can be conducted in a kilt. I'd be interested to see what other x-markers get up to in a kilt.

This just goes to show that kilts are not just for special evenings. They can be dressed down for daily wear & fancied up for formal occasions.

I swim like a rock - how much harder is it to do kilted? Oh, I should point out that for the time being, all I've got are Utilikilts.

Fording a creek in the High Sierra:

A moment after this photo was taken, I was swimming. Not a good place to be!

I was only swept a dozen feet downstream. I climbed out where the patch of grass is on the opposite bank. It took about five full minutes to ford this creek, fighting every step of the way.

A whole new untapped market - kilted underground miners wearing workman's kilts!

I worked underground as a boy. Agility and freedom are important. Workman type kilts would be perfect. Black for coal miners, browns for hard rock miners....
