They should treat every one the same, what ever they wear. If they then flash (or any breach of rules) in the club then the management have the right to remove them. I though that everyone was innocent until proven guilty

Wonder if the bouncer would have denied Brittney Spears after seeing some of her recent pictures sans undies? Even though the story itself just illustrates stupidity I found the size and placement of the headlines interesting. While we might find it interesting here, does it really warrant that much interest in the Sunday paper?

Discrimination pure and simple and no "half way" about it.
For many kilties not wearing undies is like an article of faith.

I wonder if he was wearing a sgian too..

Unfortunately too many kilties once they have a drink believe it is there God-giving right to show their bum in public, in the past I have always found this embarrassing behaviour. On the other hand why are kilties not left alone to enjoy their own company without individuals creeping up behind them and lifting the kilt to see if anything is being worn underneath. This happened to me on Hogmanay on several occassions and frequently in the past.

I never wear anything under my kilt, or my jeans, suit pants, or shorts. I don't own underwear (TMI, I know!) so would I be kicked out too? Perhaps if he wore a thong or G under the kilt...

If the roudy kilties wanted to, even if they were wearing something under, they could take them off in two seconds and cause their trouble!
Also those that are respectable could "put them on" to gain entry, and then remove them once inside, or were they going to be constantly harrassed all night with "checks"?

I think kilt checks all night would open up a cause for litigation, I know if someone wanted to do repeated kilt checks on me I would talk to my solicitor, even if a doorman wanted to do one kilt check I might seek legal council.
