Lovely pictures. As a lowland Scot it was a refreshing change to see pics of well known highland landmarks like Urquhart and Inverlochy Castles and the Glencoe Monument outside of the main holiday season - probably a better time of year for taking photos when they are not crowded with tourists. Nice to see your eldest son enjoys wearing the kilt too. Your weather was wild, but on the plus side it was also mild, which enabled you to get to Inverness by car. Next time perhaps you will want to tour the south of Scotland and visit Pour1Malt and myself, and see some of the Castles which guarded the Scots against English invasion and the Tower Houses of the lowland clans.
