What wonderful photos. Thanks for sharing!
I take a special interest in the Glencoe monument. The Henderson Clan had strong ties to Clan Donald at Glencoe. In fact McIan's bodyguard (a Henderson) fell with the chief the night of the massacre. There were other Hendersons who lost their lives in the madness as well. The MacDonald of Glencoe tartan is very high on my list.

Excellent pics!
I didn't see that kilted poster when I was at Edinburgh Airport in November but will keep an eye out for it in February!

Looks like you had a really nice time - and goes to show that one does not have to restrict travelling and adventure to summer

Lovely pictures. As a lowland Scot it was a refreshing change to see pics of well known highland landmarks like Urquhart and Inverlochy Castles and the Glencoe Monument outside of the main holiday season - probably a better time of year for taking photos when they are not crowded with tourists. Nice to see your eldest son enjoys wearing the kilt too. Your weather was wild, but on the plus side it was also mild, which enabled you to get to Inverness by car. Next time perhaps you will want to tour the south of Scotland and visit Pour1Malt and myself, and see some of the Castles which guarded the Scots against English invasion and the Tower Houses of the lowland clans.
