I also use the nightstalker as my primary day wear sporran and I love it. Now if it were only in leather....

I just ordered one of the scratch and dent ones. We'll see how it looks sometime Tuesday probably.

You really can't beat it, mine is worn out more than any other I own. the best feature is the compartments that keep everything well organized. There's no rooting around in one large compartment for what ever you need (I hate that, especially in public!). I use a nylon Prana chalk bag strap for it. http://www.rei.com/online/store/Prod...cat=REI_SEARCH The Cavscout straps are nice too, but I try to match leather to leather & nylon to nylon. But that's just me

I'm curious, do you match this with a nylon duty belt? I'm thinking of exchanging my uniform belt with same. I could then go dual duty.

A nylon duty belt has had mixed reviews for kilt wearing. You can see an example of it on the Stillwater site in the Gallery section. Personally, I also try to match nylon to nylon if possible.

As you may have seen in the thread with the bomber jackets, Jerry is wearing a brown leather version of the sporran.

We all bugged him as soon as the Nightstalker was introduced last year that it would be great in leather, and Jerry is planning on having them available later this year.

If you really need to know specifics, email Jerry.

And Tuesday it is. The scratch and dent Nightstalker sporran just showed up. I can't tell, for the life of me, what is wrong with it. Definitely roomy enough to hold all my junk. As soon as I can get out to the store to buy another of those little d-rings, I'm gonna have it on with the PK I'm wearing at the moment.

it is on the casual side, but I won't have any problems wearing it with my SWK, the PK or the hopefully soon to be new USAK in the Army tartan. I do need to find a good pin for the flap though, it needs something for decoration.

Well if you have to get another D ring perhaps that was what was wrong with it. I'm Jealous, I ordered mine a day before you and it hasn't shown up yet. Curse them Canada Customs.
