Very nice looking attire - you wear it well.
Obviously, a truely stylish tartan. This might well be an option for those who wear kilts of a non-tartan type, and are contemplating going traditional.
Oh, I wish you guys would stop posting pictures of such nice tartans - it only makes me want to spend more money... Just kidding; keep those pictures coming

musuem of photos...
Very well done, Steve -- though I must admit I was just as impressed with the museum displays as I was your Highland "kit"! It looks like a very nice museum, to be sure! Do they have a web site?
I wonder, though: is the kilt in the WWI-era display a Mackenzie, since the Seaforths of Canada have their HQ in BC? It does look like Mackenzie of Seaforth.
Very well done indeed! Guid on ya for the new kilt, and more importantly, guid on ya for volunteering! I know we appreciate our docents/volunteers for the work they do!
Cheers,
Todd

Absolutely stunning, Steve, and co-ordinated to perfection. As soon as I finish typing this, I MUST get the order off to Barb that I discussed with her before Christmas. I must not, and can not, delay a minute longer!
As I said earlier, not having seen you in tartan, I could not really envisage you wearing it but now I know that you wear it with as much grace and elegance as anyone I know. By the way, I remember well those museum locations from when you gave us a personally conducted tour eighteen months ago! It was too crowded then for much photography, but I guess you were able to 'shoot' outside opening hours?

The outfit is just wonderful Steve, from the Argyle to the freelander sporran and down to the red flashes it all just looks right.
You wear it well, also that is a perfect location.
Thanks for posting them.

Amazing photos Steve - and the kilt is stunning. BTW, the Royal BC museum is one of our favorites.

Steve,
I have looked long and hard at these pictures. I have managed to consolidate my feelings about the Highland Granite tartan, Barb’s skill, your accessories, and the style with which you wear the whole ensemble into one word:
Jealous!

That WW1 kilt in the display case is a MacKenzie tartan, I think.

Steve, what a sharped dressed guy. The kilt looks great with the jacket and the sporran. You must have been quite the sight for the fine people of Victoria. Very impressive.
What a great looking kilt.
