Sorry for the loss. I'm lucky that my little Schipperke doesn't go after leather because I tend to leave belts and sporrans laying on a chair late at night. When she's mad at us for any reason she just raids the garbage in the bathrooms and pulls out used tissues to leave around the house. Never have been able to figure that one out.

It is because those things SMELL like you and Nikki. And he is chewing them most likely because he is not getting enough attention.
Heh. I HAVE to share this - when I was a military policeman, one of our dog handlers would demonstrate a curious trait his canine partner had - the Soldier would take off his Sam Browne belt (the outer equipment belt with holster, handcuffs, radio, pepper spray, etc,) and set it on the floor - at whih point the dog would come over, sniff it, and 'assume the position' - attempting to have intercourse with a spot (empty air) over the belt! Never did figure that one out...

    TB,

My wife is a veterinarian. I went over to her reference shelves to see if I could find a solution to your problem. I found one in a massive volume entitled "Miller's Anatomy of the Dog". This tome is 2028 pages long and weighs some 4 pounds. After perusing through it the answer came to me. Simply hold the book high above your head and then drop it on the offending pint-sized canine. I guarantee your Shih Tzu will not destroy any kilt accessories again.

    Cheers

    Big Mikey,

You are far safer thawing meat in the refrigerator. If you need to thaw something quickly you can do a speed thaw in the kitchen sink under cool running water.

    Cheers

Once again, Panache is correct. I do know better but it was late after some time spent revelling. But, a great tip for all.

Sorry about that, man I hate it when that type of thing happens, I am sure you will get a new strap soon, its too bad I liked the look of your new kilt and accessories.
When I was a kid our dog waited until christmas eve, then in the middle of the night, why is it always the middle of the night btw?
she decides the presents are out to get me and she attacks them first.
we woke up in the morning to find alot of half chewed toys. I will never forget that one.

I have already ordered the same strap from Steve. No worries. I've already forgiven Winston, and told him so.
