I agree w/ getting your smell on things. My dog used to take all of my insoles out of everything including ski boots. She put them in a pile and slept on them. O'Neille

Look on the bright side... it's only a Shih Tzu. Meaning it could only do so much damage.
Had my bullmastiff gotten a hold of a leather belt and done that... I'd be looking around for days wondering where the thing went. Until I found the buckle! lol

Before I left the Great State of Texas my live in brought home an Australian Shepard. Took her less than a week to get into the tack room and chew a couple saddles and some other tack. She becoame a cow dog at some one else's place within the week.

We have a cute little top poodle that chewed up a $150 dental splint that my daughter left out on the table… TWICE.
And when you find whatever’s been chewed up, the dog has this look on their face… What?

My cat once taught an Australian Sheep dog the error of sticking it's nose through the fence. It was trying to get my cat, until my cat got his nose!

That's quite typical of poodles... Smart dogs... and turds too... I should know, I grew up with one.

I just went out and told my Boxer about this thread and let her know that if she doesn't learn how to sit and stay...

I posted this before, but this is my Aussie mix, Dakota caught in the act.

The Leopard looking thing in the pic is her bed, which she dragged from the corner to the middle of the room. It is laying on a broom which was in the closet. The few pieces of styrofoam are from the box, in which I had the sporran. I was able to save the strap. Moral, never leave a puppy alone with an open closet door. (even for a few minutes) I'm just glad the kilts were out of reach. Oh yes, the wire is a spare networking cable.
