Thank you all for the feedback.
As an added note, I'm planning on this pin having a slight radius (a very slight radius) to the back of the pin so that it will mold somewhat to the leg. I hope this will protect the tips of the leafs from catching on things as well as make it look better than a flat pin stuck through the cloth and provide a little extra push to keep the apron from rolling or blowing forward if the apron is a little too narrow or the wind too strong.
Beuth Sim, (and really anyone, though I know with the Fraser significance some won't feel like wearing it), If you are still interested I'll have these produced in a couple of months or so. I'm also contacting the various Clan Fraser societies around the world (Scotland, UK, Canada, Australia, California, Georgia....) to let them know about them as well.
