New to the forum - quick question

Been kilted full time for over 17 months now, including at work. But I work at a slightly different type of "zoo" - a "human zoo" a mental health agency.

I'd think that a workman's would allow you to have your "critter tools" easily at hand and give you more agility when needed.

I construct all of my own caging for my animals that I keep at home and since I got my two Workman's kilts I've been wondering how I ever got by without them. I can have my cordless drill in the hammer loop and a box of trim screws in one pocket and a utility knife in another. I used to work construction YEARS ago and now I don't know if I'd ever wear a toolbelt again. However, as to wearing one to work in... well - let's just say I get a lot of animal waste on me throughout the week and I'd hate to have to wash a kilt so much. You should see how much of a beating the shirts and shorts we wear take. Not to mention the caustic disinfectants such as bleach solutions and other more nefarious chemicals like 1-Stroke and Alkyli germicide - ugh! UKs are too expensive to be put through that kind of punishment. Still, the general curator of the zoo has seen me in my various UKs at after hours zoo parties and such and we've jokingly talked about getting kilts for people to wear but alas they're WAY to buttoned-down for that. I'll have to open my own facility before I could ever get away with wearing my kilt to work. *Sigh* I slave away during the day in my bifurcated tortuous garment longing for the kilted freedom at the end of day.
