Xmarks Burns Supper @ Ferintosh 2007!

Well it looks like I'm organised to meet some x-markers next Friday and Saturday. Friday I will be coming to Dumfries alone for the Kilts night and have booked a carer to look in on Ann, and then Ann will be travelling with me to Dumfries on Saturday to join in the Burns supper. I can probably get to Dumfries by around lunchtime both days so if there is going to be a kilted rabble visit to Andersons kilt shop or Caerlaverock castle or whatever during the day on Friday or Saturday I may be able to join you.

Hey! Derek and I are not arriving at The Ferintosh until late afternoon or early evening on Friday (weather permitting - the forecast is grim!), and will be whacked - I'll be leaving home around 4.30am for the 420-odd mile drive. Don't you guys strip Anderson's of all the bargains (or the pubs of all the red wine!) before we get a look-in!!

1) the weather forcasts are wrong when it comes to good weather, so I hope they are also wrong... Besides, forecasts a week in advance are t best a qualified guess.
2) if there are no bargains left at Anderson's, the early arrivers are sure to put on a private showing at the Ferintosh early Saturday.
3) the red whine, eh wine, in Dumfries is safe from Patrick and Anne-Lise
4) looking forward to seeing you in Dumfries
