Scotexan, I'm in Converse, so I can definitely empathize. didn't keep me from wearing my kilt.

I've been following some of the weather-problems on the news and online. My heart goes out to you guys!! While we're used to that type of stuff here, we also have the resources to get rid of it. To those in the south who are not used to it, my best suggestion is stay inside and stay warm.

I can only imagine what it would be like around here without snow-plows and mag-chloride.

An even bigger nightmare. Out here in Aurora, they only put the blade down every once in awhile and put down vary little MgCl, so we have some areas, like the street our complex is on, that have one very narrow strip of bare pavement where the sun hits and cars have worn the snowpack down, leading to big ice patches on either side of the road. Gonna make moving tomorrow real fun. I really hope we don't get snowed on.
