Good Job Detective Mudd,

The weather was bad Saturday on the drive down to Tuba City to meet my lady and on the drive up to Grand Canyon from there. So wore the leather kilt.

Saturday night changed into the Isle of Skye for dinner, but it was too dark by then for good pics. So wore the Isle of Skye today for poking around the South Rim.

I took the Warrior with the intention of being able to take some pics of it too but we slept in and got a late start. On the way back down from the South Rim was bugging me that I'd sort of promised Rocky to get some pics at the Grand Canyon so yeah, I did find an empty parking area and changed in and by the car to get the Warrior tartan pics. Another good reason to wear an underkilt in cold weather.

Weather folks said it was -6F at the rim this morning but didn't seem anywhere near that cold...unless I got too close and caught an updraft.

Together with the Xmarks kilts...the Isle of Skye seems to be the most common "forum kilt"...with reason...it's such a beautiful tartan!

I'll be joining the Isle of Skye band of brothers in a month or two - Barb has just mailed to inform me that MY kilt length of the IoS has just been delivered to her. I know she has a lot of work on hand and fortunately I am a patient man (!!) ...... I just know the wait will be worthwhile.

[PS: mine is Braeriach weight and Barb is pleating it to the stripe for me.]
