Congratulations to all of you over there in sunny California. What a great evening you appear to have enjoyed. My especial congratulations to Jamie for his spirited rendition of The Address - one of, if not the best of, the many I have seen and heard across the years. Actually, I wish I had not seen the video - at least, not yet - as I am to give The Address at The Ferintosh Burns Night Dinner on Saturday ....... and I will be reading it! The days of my being able to memorize much more than my telephone number are over and, in any case, I am not a public speaker!!
But this thread is about YOUR Burns Night, and a splendid one it was. Well done.
[PS: You've done it again! A first - The 'Kneeling Hamish'! Great stuff, chaps.]

Excellent photo report. I especially liked the group Hamish and its nice to be able to match names to faces in the photos and to voices on video.

I believe there is more to come. Way2fractious, who took many pics, including the "prom" couples photos has yet to be heard from.
Best regards,
Jake

This is very nice folks. For those of us who were unable to attend a dinner this year, I very much apprecicate your sharing your evening with us!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Wow! Everyone looked so great. It looks like a heck of a party wa smissed by the rest of the membership. Kudos to all of you for putting together such a fine looking Burns night.
Alan, the Xmarks kilt looks great.
and Jamie, that was one of the better Addresses I have heard in the past 5 or so years that I have been attending Burns night celebrations. The video was a great touch.

Thank you for the pictures and video! It is really great to see so many of you together with your loved ones and obviously having such a good time. What a well-dressed group. Jamie, you did an excellent job on the address!
