The waitresses at The Tilted Kilt wear mini-kilts. Here's a couple of photos of what they wear (or don't wear) with their mini-kilts. I know my friends & I think it's a great looking ensemble!

Respectfully, there's mini-kilts and there's mini-kilts. I think that I've seen several options for the length as I've scanned the 'net looking for kilts for my daughter...or even one for my dear wife if she feels so inclined (hint, hint...). USA Kilts has one illustrated on their website that seems appropriately sexy without going quite as far as the kilted bar-wench number shown above. Once that's established, you ought to be able to play with any number of looks...you could do a tank top, a turtleneck or a white shirt, necktie and vest...my daughter usually just wears a dark t-shirt and has about ten girl's jackets that are cutt an appropriate length for a kilt jacket...she finds them at Target and we've had to declare a moritorium on her buying any more of them...like I say, she's got plenty. I'm sure that you can figure something out...why's a woman asking a bunch of guys what to wear anyway?
Thank you very much. You've been supremely helpful. If you'll notice, in my post I did ask for ladies' advice. I included "(or men)" just incase there was a gentleman like yourself who would have good advice.
From what I've seen at various games and they way they've been shown on web sites, you have a fairly open choice. Assuming you're not talking the micro-minis, you could dress them up or down as much as you want depending on the style of top. An nice white dressy blouse with a vest or a black tank top without one would be examples of both ends of the spectrum. Of course, colors would depend on the tartan you picked.
