Thanks for the feedback on the 'popup' bug. I'll get our tech team onto it on Monday.

As for the X Marks tartan, is it registered with the STA? I don't recall seeing it when working on the databases. Even if not, if anyone can supply the thread count, we'd be delighted to add it...

I can't load the full-size tartan images either. I just get an image that says "loading" with spinning white dots around it that make me feel like this:

See, it all depends on what you search for. I searched for "Scottish National" instead of "Scotland National".

    Thanks for the help.

Nick, I think it will be great when the bugs are ironed out. Searched for Fitzgibbon and it was not there but is registered with STA.

Loading full size images works for me, but its slow. probably too many xmarkers trying at once. impressive selection!

I spoke to Matt Newsome today and he said that he sent the thread count and a sample of the X Marks Tartan fabric to the SCA for their records but did not pay out of his own pocket to have it registered and listed in the public files.

Here is a copy of the original thread count and what was used by Fraser & Kirkbright to do the weaving.

You're right, the large images don't work correctly in Safari/OSX (some don't display a larger image at all; some display a smaller one!). However, congratulations on listing the modern as well as ancient Kincaid- I believe that yours is the first tartan search to do so!
