Yes they are, but I also believe it was riverkilt that ordered a premade one and had good service. You never know if they have cleaned up their act. Besides, what are the chances that is the correst size.

I will be throwing this summer in my USA Kilts Casual. It's Polyester-Viscose and it looks good and it's light. Sounds about perfect. After throwing I'll change into my Clan tartan.
matter of fact, this might be an excuse to buy a Casual IN the clan tartan, eh?
Anyway, www.thescottishweaver.com sells the blue Morgan tartan in a *very* lightweight wool (7/8 ouce) for around $42 a yard. I don't think I'd make a kilt in that.
Instead, I'd order 2.5 yards of the 11 ounce stuff and get a 5-yard kilt made. However at $70 a yard, there's no way around just the material costing you $170.
How about wearing the Modern MacKay? That's available in Poly_Viscose and Rocky can sew one of those up for you in his casual model.....BTW, I'd five times over rather have a USA Kilts casual than a Sport Kilt, and they cost about the same.
