Snow showers here the past three days but didn't lie for long on the main roads and I've had no difficulty travelling back and forth to Duns yesterday and today. Mostly melted when the sun came out, though some still lying in the garden where its in the shade and there is a frost again tonight. Forecast looking OK for getting to Dumfries. Here's hoping for the weekend.

As the song says "All my bags are packed and I'm ready to go" it's 07.45 GMT and Hamish is well on his way to pick me up to go to the Xmarks Burns Supper @ Ferintosh

Anne-Lise and I are finally back - after an unscheduled night in Amsterdam...
Bad weather expected around Trondheim, so the KLM captain opted to up the fuel and dump 11 paying passengers in Amsterdam
Yes, an absolutely fabulous week-end!!! A special thanks to all who participated, and especially special thanks to Emma and Robertson for hosting this unruly rabble
Found a nice place for a pit stop at Amsterdam's Schipol while waiting for hotel for the night:
