    Cool cousin, Semper Fi,

Just heard from Kathy Lare, the mill for my hand sewn is Strathmore and I chose the 13oz over the 11oz. Guess no one makes the 16 oz leatherneck.

I've been so spoiled since I saw my first handsewn Leatherneck tartan kilt....its beautiful.

Gonna pleat to the sett on kathy's reccomendation. To the stripe puts way too much yellow on the backside. She did say she's seen a leatherneck tartan pleated to the red stripe...a bit unusual eh?

So, 13 oz to the sett for me.

    It's about time Ron.

My SWK Leatherneck just came in yesterday, and I have to say it is the most beautiful tartan I have personally seen.

I have figured it out. Ron truly is addicted to kilts, but he's in denial. He needs someone else to "okay" his purchase of new kilts, thus justifying the purchase in his own mind of what he really wanted to do anyway. I guess we're all just enablers for him.

    Enjoy you new kilt, Jarhead.
