Flights to Glasgow shouldn't be a problem. From there it is just a short coach trip.

Robertson, please book places for Ann and I for one or other of the Saturday night Burns Suppers.
I live near enough Dumfries such that weather permitting I should probably be able to travel from home and join the rabble for both of the Friday kilt nights.

Nikki is deathly afraid of flying. I don't know that I'll be able to convince her to fly 12-14 hours for this. Is that going to stop me? Hell no. If not, I'm bringing my cousin Billy with me.

Give her a heavy dose of NyQuil and she'll wake up in Dumfries none the wiser

12-14 hours??? I am on the coast and it only took us 8. Do what I do, book night flights and have a scotch before you leave.
