while I can't be there, I've got an option.
show up early...REAL early ( roughly when the doors open)
find a few bonnie lassies with cars to attend to you once you complete to following:
consume as much of their store of scotch so they have to let you stay, just to see if you can drink it all in one day!
While it seems highly unlikely that this would work, it would surely be worth a try!

We do have other establishments here, including Timmies. There are a couple other bars, the Legion, or, depending on the weather, a bridge we can stand under! There is always my kitchen if worst comes to worst.
I would like to suggest the event start earlier. I don't know whether tickets would be available for the show, as they are first come-first served only. What time can everyone make it?
Kilted KT had a very good point as well. It's crazy enough that it just might work!

We are more than welcome at the opening of the Sleekit Badger. Location number two for the evening is Johnny Rottens Eatery. I spoke to Johnny himself today after work, and he has welcomed us there whenever we arrive. There is not band on Saturday, so we are safe. The locations are not far apart, but too far to walk in the cold. I can give directions to everyone who requires them based upon their direction of arrival. If we get together early enough, we could eat first. If not, we can snack at either locale.

Will we not be kilted? Sounds great you are now the SOKS self-appointed cruise-director - sort've like a bald Julie McCoy. I assume that you will be coming to Oakville tomorrow and we can firm up things for storming Dunnville. I shall email you my address for staging.

You will always be Gopher to my Julie! I will be the Dunnville cruise director, but will leave the task to you when we are in BurlingTown.

All is shaping up well so far! I will see if I can hook us up with some swag from the opening... The owner was asking me where he could pick up a Celtics kilt... apparently likes football!
I will keep you posted, and get some idea on numbers for the weekend. I can provide a start time when I find out availability of our kilted brethren that will attend that day.

Tell the guy to get an Irish National standard from SWK and a Celtic FC jersey. Also Sportkilts has a couple of kilts that would work.
