This is an interesting system, One of my folks in Richmond is reporting that it is snowing heavily, and in other parts it is simply a light dusting. Down here is Snellville, it is a mixture of rain and freezing rain!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

OK, I just went outside and we're getting a very light drizzle with a bit of tiny sleet mixed in. It wasn't doing anything at all 30 minutes ago.

It's snowing here in the Mts. of Utah. The resorts love it.

OK, now it's dumping on us. Sleet and snow combo. I'm heading home before the roads get too nasty.

Out here in Colorado, a couple of times in my life I have seen the dividing line of the weather. I mean that on one side of the double yellow line in the middle of the road it was a warm and sunny 50 or so degrees, while on the other, mid 30's with snowflakes the size of Kennedy half-dollars. crossing that line was like going through a curtain dividing rooms.

Well, the weather forecasters have been crying snow and ice since early this morning and at mid-morning the radar actually showed precip but nothing here ever hit the ground. I guess we'll see what happens later. Good luck down there guys.
Stay warm.

Yeah, I keep waiting for something to happen. It looks like I won't get off work early today. Maybe I will be able to go in late tomorrow.

Winter '06/'07 Round 7 - Started snowing here in Colo Spgs last night after a warm day. Icey road this morning with 4+ inches of VERY light fluffy snow on top. Stopped during the day today but the weather guessers think it will start up in about an hour and go on into tonight with about 6 more inches.
