Some of the Police units also have specific tartans associated with their bands these would also qualify. Also you can use the tartan of your state, that is if the state has a recognized tartan. BTW-Almost all of the Armed Forces have recognized and registered tartans now. The Army just got theirs last year and the Marines are still trying to get the Leatherneck officially recognized.

Sorry OT, but could you point me to where the ARmy Tartan is actually recognised officially.
