The best of the A10s.
I'm sure there's more when I get time to look.
That 441 sure brings back some wonderful memories. I toured Europe, when I wasn't on duty, on a 1970 Shooting Star. I remember going to the factory in England for parts and watching the two production lines, one turning out BSAs and the other side turning out Triumphs, what great memories.

Chris, if you toured Europe on a thumper, I hope you still have most of your teeth! The singles were reliable and handled great, but they can literally bounce the front wheel at a fast idle. I always prefered a Thunderbolt for touring…

It wasn't an issue because most of Europe's streets were cobblestone and EVERYTHING you rode or drove rattled your teeth...lol
My friend had a 650 Lightning which was a two lunger and beside the extra power it was a bit smoother ride but I loved that torque that the 441 had.

Current Bike

This is my first photo linking experience.
This was the softail's birthday last April when I wheeled it out of the weightroom. Kilted ride to Bisbee AZ planned for this weekend. I think it turned out nice. O'Neille

Besides the kilt thing...It is awesome to see so many IBA members in here. I have an SS1000 under my belt , on a KLR-650. Not as bad as the old brits but this bike has vibrated and shaken everything off of it but me. I have to do complete bike check for missing and loose bolts almost every time I ride. I love this bike and wouldn't have it any other way.I do plan on some more IBA rides in the future and would love to have a long distance ride to a kilted event somewhere. Just strap the kilt on the bike somewhere and get comfortable when we get where we are going.

Its good to see other motorcycle/dog people here and at least one other sidecar (hack).
Currently the fleet includes a Yamaha TDM900

and a 1987 BMW K100RS pulling a HRD sidecar

My wife rides too, an R1150R BMW, plus there's a retired K100 in the backyard.
I don't ride kilted, but have an interesting magazine cover I'll scan for later on. We are touring riders primarily, lots of rallies under our belts and we've seen a very large part of Australia from the seat of a bike.
I have run into rally-mates at the Glen Innes festival though, but they were dressed as . Neither of us knew the other would be there but it's a regular occurence now.

I'll have to get some piccies. But, I ride a 2001 Honda Rebel. A 250 at that. I know, I know. OH well. If the Grape Ape had tattoos and rode a Rebel...
Oh, and never ever ever kilted.
