Just not kilted.....
I ride a '79 Honda GL1000 Wing w/ a Vetter fairing and the Samsonite bag setup. It's sorely in need of the freshening up I am giving her before summer hits.
My all time favorite was a 1977 Yamaha XS650D Vertical Twin. You know, the one that looks like a Brit Bike, not the chopped looking one. I still keep an eye out for one to replace the one I (stupidly) sold.
I am a firm believer in ATGATT-been knocked down once. I walked away (more or less) but the 1978 CB750K was toast. I also did a getoff at 60 MPH on a greasey offramp on a 1972 CL350. Both times heavy leathers and a full face helmet saved my behind.
AL-58...That's a nice 1987 BMW K100RS with a HRD sidecar. I did a double take on the front end and the hack on the left side (notice I didn't say wrong side?). What front end is that? I know stock should be a telescopic.

Hi, Ray
It's a custom made leading Link front suspension, like an Earles fork on an old /2 BM. The idea is to push the axle forward and reduce the trail which makes the it much lighter to steer. It's not uncommon on a sidecar bike. This is my 4th sidecar, every one a K100, every one a HRD, but at least in OZ it's a hard combo to beat.

1993 Honda VT1100 Shadow
when that bike was killd by a drunk, long story... I picked up my current ride a
1994 Honda VT1100 Shadow

Like Ronstew, I drive a BMW R1150RT, but regretfully, not got a pic. Ive had a bike for the past 40 years, starting with a Lambretta scooter when I left school at 16.
Three years ago I went to the Scottish Motorcycle Show and set off from the hotel, kilted. After 200 yards I realised that March in Scotland in a kilt on a bike was not a good idea, and the exposure made me feel very self-concious, so I stopped and put my waterproof trousers on.

I am a fairly new rider. I have always wanted to have a motorcycle. I figured I am almost 39 years old and I shouldn't let this chance pass. I went out and bought a new 2004 Honda Shadow Sabre 1100. I can see myself on a touring bike as I get older. I am also fond of older bikes like Triumphs, BSA, Indians, and Harley Davidsons.
I added the backrest, cargo rack, and saddlebags a few months ago. I have a few other things I would like to add this summer. The next thing I will add is an aftermarket seat. The stock seat is really uncomfortable after about sixty miles.

It's going to be in the low to mid 70s all week. I'll get a lot of riding in this week. O'Neille

I hate him too: I finally chipped a path through the ice to my neighbor-across-the-street's garage yesterday before the Superbowl just so I could say I've ridden this year...about 100 feet total distance.
Bryan...not gonna need new tires soon at this rate...

My stable is currently full according to my loving wife. My current list is 2 Yamaha RD350s, one RD400, a Honda cb400t, a Kawasaki ZRX1200R and my race bike a Honda CB350. I've also managed to sneak one in for Nicholas when he's older, a Honda CR60.
Been riding since age 8 and I'm 36 now. Do a fair share of touring when I get the chance, but mostly day trips. 2007 will be my first season competeing in AHRMA vintage roadracing. That bike is under construction now. Not too many bike pics, but I've got a few here. This first one is a bike I wanted since they first came out...ended up divorced a few years later and what do you know, I got one. It's a modern replica of a 1982 Kawasaki Z1 ELR. Looks pretty sedate, but it's meant to. I've surprised many, many folks in my "old bike". I've not had it on the dyno, but identical bikes with the same...um....adjustments are getting 130 to 135 horsepower. It handles great, I've had it on the racetrack when I got my roadrace license and loved every second of it. It's a fun bike and the wife and I both have racked up the miles on it. She rides as well.

The second pic is my Honda CB400T Hawk cafe racer project. Just something fun to ride around town. I've got a few things to button up on it and it'll be ready. This summer I'm sure.
