Only had below freezing at NIGHT recently, and that was LAST week.
Suppossed to hit near 60 degrees F here today.
The rain is due back in by Wednesday.... back to "normal" for the Great NorthWet THEN.

We had freezing rain here, which sucks. I hate ice.

Yeah, plenty of ice around here, too... in our ice tea!
Highs around 80ºF/26.7ºC today & tomorrow!

Happiness? I'd settle for being less annoyed!!!

Would this emoticon work for you? :butt:
Don't worry, when the temp gets over 115ºF/46.1ºC here in 4 or 5 months it'll be our turn to do the bitchin' & moanin'... then you can say how much cooler it is in your locale...

I've experimanted with the cold weather kilt thing... but being a bit pragmatic, I just go with trousers with extra layers in the bitter cold. I did wear a heavyweight kilt to a funeral home last weekend but changed back to trousers when I got home. For me, trousers are the better choice when the weather turns sub-arctic.
On days like today, I'd welcome a bit of global warming.

That doesn't work for those of us on the front range of CO though. We get the miserably hot temps AND the miserably cold temps. If this wasn't one of the most beautiful places on the planet... (no, not the city of Aurora, I mean the state of Colorado)

What we're getting right now is an airmass from Siberia that shifted over the pole. See, the way it works is Siberia attacks Canada then Canada attacks us and it's all done with cold air masses. What we need to do is set up huge fans to blow it all back.

What we really need is a way to save it all for the summer months!
