    Looking for a FOB

Does anybody know where I might be able to find a FOB kind of like this. I would want it to be made out of metal. The design is of little importantance, but somthing like it. What I have in mind is somthing like the old Donney & Bourke keychains, the metal logo part.

These Celtic conchos were at Tandy Leather. The photo makes it look like 1", but it's actually 1 1/8". It has a small Chicago screw on the back to attach to leather.

Thanks way2fractious for the photo & ruler. I like the design, but I need it to have a the D loop so it can rotate up.

It might be a bit unclear exactly what you are looking for and the function you are trying to achieve.

W2F was probably thinking you were going to apply the concho to a piece of leather to make your own key-fob.

Are you looking for just one of these or do you need more than one.

    You might try these guys.

Yeah, that "FOB" had me thinking he had a bill of lading or receipt and was trying to figure out where the FOB was.

Yes like the ones at the kilt store, but I only want the FOB part not the keychain. I will only need two now, more maybe later. I want to use it as the clasp for my Sporran instaed of a pin lock or something else. I dont want a clan fob just some generic celtic design, so if I wanted I could pass it on later.

I'd suggest trying a trophy store or a gift shop at the mall that does engraving.

You will be hard pressed to find a single item like this. But if you can find a place that does engraving, they may have blank key fobs like you want and then you could mount a concho onto it. It will be thick, but will get you close to what you want.

Could you use a piece of thick leather to make the "D loop" backing and attach the Tandy Celtic conchos to the leather backing? Or you could take a metal "D Ring" loop leather around the straight shaft of the ring and attach the Celtic conchos to this. Also based on your design you could just use a leather FOB.

Last try flea markets and antiques shops. I have seen old watch FOBs that might be interesting for this purpose.
