I answered Paul's questions by other means, but that's the gist of it.
So chasem is a closet kiltmaker? And we had such high hopes for him. Good luck PaulX608 at least you know that your future kitmaker comes from good stock... us.

Plus it's a bloody nice tartan
You were a pleasure to deal with as well, I bought a bear kilt and a canada kilt from you a while back. Colin gets my seal of approval.

Thanks for the compliments there, Colin.

Things went smoothly once the postal service got things through eh?

Now that we have an identity, I'll vouch for Chasem also. Great guy to work with. Have fun with this project!

Thanks Jeremiah, The same to you. I know we had an issue with Canada post when the kilts were sent out, but the sled dogs finally made it down to Texas How are the kilts by the way? Still working for you? I miss the 8 yard Bear kilt.

I agree. I think we have all gotten so used to instant service with the internet and email, that those postal delays really throw us The wool got to you quicker than I expected though, especially given the weather that was hitting the west and moving east when I shipped it.

So far I have had dealings with (besides kiltmakers or businesses): Jeremiah, Norbydog, StoneCold, and Chase each was a pleasure to deal with. I also owe each a pint should we ever meet in person.

Paul, best of luck with winning the auction. I had planned to get that wool made into a casual kilt from a local kiltmaker, but decided that there was another tartan I really wanted first. I am glad someone will be getting a kilt in the tartan, as after looking at it for a year or so, I know how nice it is.

I was surprised by the Quality of the Bear Kilt, it is a superbly made garment, and I would say that Bear has a deft hand at kilt making. The MacKenzie kilt I absolutely love, it was my first military style knife pleat kilt. It has such great swish for an Acrylic kilt, I was impressed, especially since I had not heard of Canada Kilts before. How come all these kilt makers are in Canada?!?!?! They should move to Texas so I don't have to pay import fees.
